Campaign Pillars

Listening to Constituents / Environment / Public Safety / Legislature Engagement / Election Integrity / Cost of Living / Government Transparency

We’re starting here, but honestly want to hear more from the community. That’s why we’re setting out on a tour to hear directly from you. As we begin our journey of walking the community, we’ll get an active list of priorities to focus on. Kahi is here to listen and then act on your behalf at the legislature in 2027. We encourage you to be open to sharing your thoughts and we are here to listen. Feel free to insert your thoughts, ideas, goals, and community dreams below. Kahi’s goal is to be a conduit for the community in the legislative process. He’s not there to enact his desires, he’s headed there to represent you.

Kahi lives in District 19 and throughout his upbringing, has lived in Nu’uanu, Kailua, the continent, Kaimuki, and Ka’alakei (D19). He has worked in the corporate world, founded a very successful nonprofit organization (Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii), and currently works for nonprofit Parley for the Oceans while serving on multiple boards and commissions.

He spends his free time with his family and friends enjoying Maunalua Bay, volunteering with community groups, and doing home improvement projects around the house.
